Typography System

A comprehensive typography system designed for optimal readability across all content types.

Typography System

This comprehensive typography system is designed to provide excellent readability and visual hierarchy for all types of content, from marketing pages to technical documentation.

Heading Hierarchy

Our typography system uses a clear heading hierarchy to organize content. Each heading level has specific size, weight, and spacing values optimized for readability.

Third Level Heading

This is a paragraph under a third-level heading. Notice how the spacing and sizing create a clear visual hierarchy. We use bold text for emphasis andlinks are styled to match our brand colors.

Fourth Level Heading

Even at smaller heading sizes, the typography remains clear and readable. Inline code snippets are styled with our brand colors and subtle backgrounds.

Text Elements

Lists

Both ordered and unordered lists are styled for clarity:

  • First item in an unordered list
  • Second item with bold text
  • Third item with a link
  • Nested items are also supported:
    • Nested item one
    • Nested item two
  1. First item in an ordered list
  2. Second item with emphasis
  3. Third item with code: npm install

Blockquotes

"Excellence in typography is the result of nothing more than an attitude. Its appeal comes from the understanding used in its planning; the designer must care."
— Robert Bringhurst

Code Blocks

Pre-formatted code blocks are styled with syntax highlighting in mind:

// Example TypeScript function
function calculatePerformance(data: number[]): PerformanceMetrics {
  const mean = data.reduce((a, b) => a + b) / data.length;
  const variance = data.reduce((a, b) => a + Math.pow(b - mean, 2), 0) / data.length;

  return {
    mean,
    standardDeviation: Math.sqrt(variance),
    min: Math.min(...data),
    max: Math.max(...data)
  };
}

Tables

Tables are styled for clarity and readability:

Simple Moving Average100ms3.7ms27x
Exponential Moving Average120ms5.1ms23.5x
Relative Strength Index150ms5.2ms28.8x
